CORONA VIRUS PREVENTION & OPERATING PROCEDURES

Nature’s Care Dispensaries

1. Posters are placed in the entrance of Nature’s Care providing information to all employees and visitors about Coronavirus, CDC guidelines pertaining to testing and medical care and personal hygiene required to minimize the risk of transmitting the virus as well as required communication when an individual tests positive for the virus or has been exposed through interaction with another individual who has tested positive for the virus.

2. NCC is cleaned daily with disinfectant wipes . This cleaning includes all frequently touched, common area surfaces that are routinely touched by employees, customers and suppliers. These surfaces at a minimum include:

a. all entrance lobby countertops,

b. all door handles,

c. all elevator control panels and call buttons,

d. all restroom sinks and toilet handles and seats as well as stall doors

e. all printers or common office equipment

f. all employee break areas, countertops, and appliances such as refrigerators and dishwashers

g. all countertops and door handles in retail locations,

h. all receiving and shipping area countertops and door handles,

i. all equipment control panels in processing and laboratory areas and equipment.

3. All employees are expected to clean their work station and / or work area, any computer equipment and keyboard and other office equipment they use daily. We are providing sanitation stations in lobbies, restrooms, and break areas with tissues, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and or cleaning supplies for employees to use in cleaning their personal work areas. Hand sanitizer are supplied and accessible for use by employees and customers. Each location is directed to procure and maintain a 90 day supply of disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer and tissues based on the nature of the work and the size of the employee population.

4. All employees are expected to clean their hands often with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60-95% alcohol or wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

5. All employees are expected to communicate directly to their manager at least one hour prior to the beginning of their workday if their condition prevents them from performing their work safely.

a. Employees who have symptoms of acute respiratory illness are directed to stay home and not come to work until they are free of fever (100.4° F [37.8° C] or greater using an oral thermometer), signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (e.g. cough suppressants). Employees should notify their supervisor and stay home if they are sick. Employees who are sick but have the capability to work remotely may do so if their condition allows them to do so.

6. Employees with symptoms of acute respiratory illness are strongly encouraged to see a healthcare provider as soon as possible, and to be tested for the COVID-19 virus. Any employee that tests positive must inform his manager immediately to enable the company to follow CDC guidelines to notify and safeguard other employees, customers and suppliers that may have been in contact with the employee who has tested positive. In cases where testing is delayed due to unavailability of testing kits, at the recommendation of that individual’s healthcare provider, self-quarantine may be indicated until such time as definitive testing can be carried out.

7. Each facility is directed to evaluate supply requirements to mitigate risk in the supply chain due to unavailability (e.g. any packaging materials, ingredients, raw materials, face masks, etc.) and place an order for 3-4 months.

8. Face shields and plexi-glass barriers along with air purification systems have been set in place to mitigate any risk of exposure.
