THE CITY IS SPEAKING…

AND WE HEAR YOU.

In March of 2020, Nature’s Care signed the first-of-its-kind Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) with the Cannabis Equity Illinois Coalition (CEIC) and the ColaGroup. The purpose of Nature’s Care agreements with Cannabis Equity Illinois Coalition and ColaGroup is to advocate and support disproportionately impacted individuals, to reinvest in our communities and to enact positive change. Not only do we believe in the beneficial properties of the plant, but we also believe the industry can provide the community and state with much economic gain.

Community Benefits Agreement

Among other provisions in the Community Benefits Agreement, Nature’s Care Company has committed to:

• Provide 100% living wage jobs for disproportionately impacted individuals

• Hire 75% of employees from disproportionately impacted areas (“DIAs”) within two years

• Donate 10% of net profits of the dispensary to community organizations working in DIAs

• Contract 10% of products and services from minority and social equity businesses

• Create a training and career development program for employees

• Host “know-your-rights” educational events and participate in National Expungement Week.

Note: 95% of the above agreements have already been completed by Nature’s Care Co. in less than half the time.

SOLUTIONS

Expungement Roadmap

Through our partnership with the ColaGroup, LLC. We have built an expungement roadmap dashboard that provides knowledge, educational information, access to legal services and pathways to assist individuals who need to navigate the State of Illinois cannabis related expungement process.

We support National Expungement Week by covering the cost of 30-40 individual RAP sheets.

We offer educational information, such as “Know your Rights” cards and we are hosting a Virtual Community Event called – “Know Your Rights.”

Cannabis Careers

Nature’s Care provides professional development on how to navigate careers in the cannabis industry. We host educational sessions that provide access to information on certifications and training needed for a successful career.

Financial Literacy

Nature’s Care teaches financial literacy and credit awareness to the community by showing members how to migrate from sub-prime to growing prime credit markets for homes, loans, cars and lines of credit.

Business Creation

Nature’s Care is assisting community members with potential ancillary cannabis business development by providing guidance and sponsorships along with career development tactics in the cannabis industry.

THE CITY IS SPEAKING…

AND WE HEAR YOU.

To celebrate the milestone achievements coming out of both the CEIC and ColaGroup agreements, Nature’s Care is running an equity campaign, entitled “The City is Speaking… And We Hear You.” The campaign genesis speaks to the city’s outcry for change and support, and will spotlight the agreements, the partners who pushed them into reality and Nature’s Care’s mission and accomplishments.

At Nature's Care, we love and care about what we do, and our Nature’s Care West Loop dispensary, opening 9/28, is proof that we honor our promises.
